I have to say I agree with everything Umngirl said earlier. I also do not see the need for Bubba to come out and say anything, it's not going to change what people already have in their heads. There seems to be this tide turning against Bubba now that he is not what people think he is just because he has not posted a defense for Paige and J. That does not seem fair to him. P& J can fight their own battles from what I can see.

I too have only been following from afar and do not have favorites here. I am happy for the new couple and wish Bubba all the best.

I get the impression that Bubba does not use a lot of social media himself. Sooo, maybe he isn't even aware of how bad some of the posting has gotten. If that's the case, his silence makes total sense.

Bubba is under no obligation to say a thing. But I would think more highly of him if he did something along the lines of what Dustin did under the circumstances. It would be a very gracious gesture, and honestly, based on the way he was edited all season, I did fully expect it would be something he would do. Guess I was wrong.

I was actually thinking the same thing

The only way TPTB of SHA will learn their lesson is if people stop watching. I know that I won't be watching "Southern Nights" or the next series of SHA. I'm done with them.

What I WILL be doing is following Paige and Jeremiah and cheering them on!

Bubba is certainly under no obligation to say a word AND it can only enhance his image once he's headed to the next season. Now CMT should at least have the decency to do a 'special' with the couple. The ending was crap.
