As much as I have loved (mostly) and watched this show since Season #1, I really don’t think any season that has to drag out over 2 weeks and 5 hours of tears, arguments and breaking up is going to leave me with the fuzzy feelings I tune in for. Call me an optimistic romantic but I watch for a happily ever after, not necessarily an engagement. What I don’t watch for is people insulting people because they don’t want to get married when said person never had any intention of picking that person as their F1.

All that said, bring on the drama…

Here are your MTA Spoilers:

-The guys in attendance were: Nate, Tyler, Logan, Meatball, Mario, Spencer,

Roby (the magician), Termayne, Jordan H., Jacob, Jordan V., Alec, Quincy, and Ethan.

-The 3 guys to get the hot seat were: Logan, Tyler, and Nate.

-On Nate’s hot seat, they ask him about the “accusations” from former women. He got emotional on stage. He said his divorce was very messy, and his #1 goal was always to protect his daughter in any relationship. He did say he could’ve been better at communicating with them, he was still feeling his way into the dating scene, he wants to do better and apologized, but he never says exclusivity conversations took place with either of them. Well, then it’s just a he said/she said on that part because Kelsey said they absolutely had that conversation. And the “I’m protecting my daughter” line isn’t what anyone is really questioning him about. That would insinuate introducing her to anyone you’re dating, and at no point has anyone said Nate’s behavior was chitty because he didn’t introduce his daughter to Kelsey. He’s completely missed the point. Nate didn’t deny on stage an on again, off again relationship with Kelsey for 18 months. All any of us are saying, and most importantly Kelsey and why this whole thing started, is how did you never even TELL her you had a daughter in 18 months. That has nothing to do with “protecting” her since you told a girl you met on Tinder out-of-state within the first month, not to mention FaceTimed with her with your daughter in it. Nate’s completely missing what people are questioning him about.

-When Gabby and Rachel came out, Gabby defended Nate saying she can only go off how he treated her and it was with nothing but respect. All the guys on stage also defended Nate saying everyone has a past, and whatever happened in the past is not the man they know him to be today. And then I think they all sang Kumbaya together. Kidding. Soooo yeah, it’s pretty much the softball job you expected. No mention of, “Hey, so Nate, on Feb. 14th 2021, you shower Kelsey with gifts, take her to dinner, all while making sure a bouquet of flowers was sent to Laree in Atlanta with a nice card and gushy message about how much you’re into her – what’s that all about? Or we just have to file that under you need to “communicate better?” Weak. Anyway, you’ll see on Monday’s episode in Amsterdam is where Gabby eliminates him on their 1-on-1 because she’s basically scared she won’t be a good mom, and he already has a child.

-We’ve seen the previews of Jesse telling Logan he has to leave next week. Well, it’s because Logan ended up getting COVID during filming. That’s why he’s eliminated in Amsterdam. And now I’m pissed because I remember waaay back in April hearing rumblings of a COVID case this season but didn’t have a name attached to it and couldn’t get it confirmed where it happened. Now we know. It was Logan.

-Tyler gets eliminated during the day portion of his hometown date with Rachel. Because Rachel had already had a hometown date with Aven two days earlier, she felt she was farther along with her relationship with him and didn’t feel the same with Tyler, so she didn’t continue on to meet his parents. Tyler then still goes home to meet them without Rachel and they shot footage there. But on stage he appreciated her being honest in that moment, and Tyler was very well liked by the audience, as was Nate. They were the two “winners” of the day so to speak.

-They did a promotion for BIP with Victoria Fuller, Genevieve, Serene, and Andrew on stage just briefly talking about the season.

-The only drama really came from Roby since apparently he ran his mouth a lot and the guys were like, “WTF, you were here for one night.” Stuff like calling them out for how they acted on group dates, etc.

-Comedian Billy Eichner and Luke MacFarlane were there to promote their movie “Bros” coming out soon. And they touched on the time that Billy hosted one of Colton’s group dates and made reference to maybe him being gay, which became somewhat of an iconic clip once Clayton did come out.

-The previews for the rest of the season show a clip of Jesse telling Rachel seemingly on final rose ceremony day “you’re the only here” insinuating that Gabby had left already. Again, we know how these previews work, but it’s making it seem like Gabby leaves alone. Not what I heard.

-Also, Meatball took off his shirt again Billy and poured sauce on him. The audience was given a meatball sandwich to hold. They also had some dude dressed us as Rambo (the action character, not Hayden’s dog) for some reason that they flashed to.

-They also did a “Do’s and Don’t(s) of Dating” showing some of the clips of the guys this season: like Quincey admitting celibacy out of the limo, Mario’s kissing of Gabby night 1 after getting first impression rose, and a segment on the speedos.

That was pretty much it from what I was told, but expect Nate to be the talk of the MTA. The guys, Gabby, Rachel all loved him and defended him – which was to be expected. That will continue into next week once he starts doing the podcast rounds. But again, I guess “I should be a better communicator” is going to be his answer to anything brought up against him, and it doesn’t seem like anyone will really challenge him on exact details of what happened and he’ll be protected. All we want is for him to actually address specifics and give any type of explanation. That’s not asking much. Oh well.

ABC’s “The Bachelorette” (Viewers: #1 for the night: 3.06 million; A18-49: #1 for the night: 0.7 rating/6 share) easily dominated NBC’s competing “American Ninja Warrior” (Viewers: #3, 2.62 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.3/ 3) in the Monday 8-10 p.m. ET block. But both reality series are certainly not what they used to be.

General Chit Chat - #2

Back after a long hiatus. Hope everyone’s well. I laughed more at the premiere tonight than at any previous Bach/ette premiere. I may not be on much, as my business has me chasing my tail. I am the primary baker (well, my team is) for a swanky tea house in Santa Monica CA, and I do private chef work now at Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes Estates. Little Red Car was replaced by Minivan #1 and now #2. Hard to take food for eight in a sports car. Sigh. But I do have another little red car - a 1974 VW !

They have a date in the north east on the 24th, then fly down to Louisanna on the 25th with date on the 26th, then to FL on the 27th with date on the 28th. It is HIGHLY improbable that they'd have her in the north east, fly to south central, then back to Florida for a date......where could they put in the north central date into that mix. It is EXTREMELY improbable that they would put 3 htd's in a row on 3 consecutive days with lots of travel involved. That hasn't happened before. Hearing from past contestants, the filming of the HTD's is gruelling enough with having at least 1 date off in between dates.....now try to imagine 3 htd's in a row, lots of travel and NO time off.

Looking back at RSs posts and info the only one confirmed still for FSs is Tino

What dates are you thinking could be filmed on the same day.....Keeping in mind the time needed for travelling and also geographically speaking. Of course we need to keep in mind that the dates for HTD's were confirmed with SM postings.

Been a while since we’ve had a column on here. Clayton’s finale week in mid-March to be exact, but here we are. “Bachelor in Paradise” filming began last week in Mexico, and I have almost all of your spoilers thru the first week. Last night I went live on IG to give you these, but since that post, I’ve received even more things, so I threw everything in here. I have your original cast, all your first rose ceremony roses and eliminations, and what’s happened since then. Rose ceremony #2 (where women gave men the roses) was on Wednesday night. I don’t have all of those yet so I left that out. But with a lot of misinformation going around, and wrong names being thrown out there of who’s in Mexico, not to mention just reckless reporting of posting everything you hear hoping stuff will stick, I figured it was time to let everyone in on actual facts, not speculation. Also, podcast #291 is a day late and will be posted later tonight as I’ll be recording with Luke & Iris from “Temptation Island” later today. If I hear any new BIP spoilers before then, I’ll add that as well.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Hailey Malles, Hunter Haag, and Kira Mengistu.

A day after the rose ceremony, Kira returned to the beach and she ends up leaving together with Romeo.

After the first rose ceremony, Teddi wasn’t feeling it with Andrew and self-eliminated. Also after the first rose ceremony, Michael broke up with Sierra and Sierra self-eliminated.

Sometime between rose ceremony #1 & #2, Salley Carson (Clayton’s season) arrived and was barely on the beach before self-eliminating. What I’ve heard is that production did her dirty and she wanted no part of being there anymore, so she left. Details sketchy at this point in terms of what happened, but I’ll fill you in once I hear.

On my live last night, I had Rodney giving Lace a rose. Maybe when Rodney arrived (since he wasn’t original cast), he took Lace on a date and she gave him her rose at rose ceremony #2, because I’ve heard they’re coupled up as of now.

Also, I said last night Andrew is with Brittany. Considering Teddi left (who he gave his first rose to), it would make sense Andrew had to move on to someone else. I’ve heard that person is Brittany now, so I’m not sure where that leaves Casey. Maybe he got eliminated at rose ceremony #2. Not sure. I don’t have all of rose ceremony #2 yet.

Aaron and James are two people that arrived (along with Rodney) after rose ceremony #1. Aaron took Genevieve on a date, and now they’re coupled up. Remember, this was brought up by Shanae at the WTA when she accused Genevieve of sleeping with Aaron right after getting off Clayton’s season. I’m not sure who James took on a date, but James didn’t make it past rose ceremony #2.

Wednesday night was rose ceremony #2. Which now means women will be entering the show yesterday and today. I know that Sarah Hamrick and Kate Gallivan are there (Clayton’s season), along with another blast from the past, Danielle Maltby (Nick’s season). Eliza Isichei and Mara Agreat I’ve heard are also on the list to appear this season at some point.

Pilot Pete, Greg Grippo, and Blake Moynes are not showing up this season. Rumors of first night eliminatees from Clayton’s season – Lindsay Dobbs and Rianna Hockaday – being on the cast are false. They’re not there as of now. Haven’t heard anything about Joey and Justin Young, the twins from Gabby/Rache’s season being there either. Rick Leach and Pardeep Singh have not appeared on the show as of this writing either.

It was announced yesterday “Bachelor in Paradise” will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 27th, which is 12 weeks after Gabby & Rachel’s “Bachelorette” season begins on July 11th. So looks like a normal season of 11 episodes of the “Bachelorette,” or possibly 1 or 2 more if they double up at any time, then immediately into “Bachelor in Paradise” the following week. It hasn’t been announced if BIP will be a Monday & Tuesday show, or just Tuesdays. But once we start “Bachelorette” on July 11th, it’ll be roughly 9 straight months again of Bachelor Nation programming.

“Bachelorette” – July 11th to Sept. 19th/20th
“Bachelor in Paradise” – Sept. 27th – at least end of November
“Bachelor” – always begins first month in January

So while the show may have taken four months off between Clayton’s finale airing in March and Gabby/Rachel’s “Bachelorette” premiere on July 11th, they’re definitely making up for it with plenty of programming from July through mid-March 2023.

Also noticed Brunette #4 down below is holding a photo - perhaps they are able to have some phone access this season? Perhaps why Ella and Jessica's IG numbers have fluctuated..

Brunette #1 - she looks so much like Cass Mamone I had to do a double take.
