I think it starts after the FRC. Jarod has a IG pic of the drivers holding up names arriving August 2nd at the airport for the start of BIP.

Kaitlyn's FRC was July 27th. Also, I remember watching Kaitlyn's MTA and we saw former contestants who we wondered at the time why they were there. Later, sleuthed to find out they were on BIP.

That makes so much more sense! I thought that Bachelor in Paradise first episode was like the week or next day after the Bachelorette. So filming starts right after the FRC. Whew that seems much more reasonable thank you! Also, why did I think that filming for Paradise starts in June? Did I just make that up?

I apologize, I think you may be correct. That info may be for the premier. I sort of remember contestant's going on BIP after they aired their elimination. I need to check further because obviously I can't remember off the top of my head!

I believe it filmed in June. For 3 weeks total. It is definitely before the MTA because I remember RS making the comment about Jared saying he still had feelings for Kaitlyn and how that played a major storyline during Paradise as well. And I remember Marcus did have to sit through his MTA with Andi and act like it still affected him even though he was engaged.

It started filming beginning of June. I remember being told Jarod was flying out beginning of June.

I remember watching what I thought was MTA and seeing people that later were on BIP, specifically Clare. I'm not sure what I'm thinking of.

Wow. Wow. I can't get over the Marcus thing. That is just crazy. It also makes Jared look a little less crazy about still being into Kaitlyn in Paradise. I mean they gave the guy like 3 weeks to get over her. Wow. That's just nuts. So all of Jojo's guys that go to Paradise and find love will then turn around and go to the MTA and act like they care. Interesting. I mean even if they don't find love and they just hook up with other people why would they need to speak to her after moving on however temporarily with someone else? And Marcus? Seriously that's just weird to me. He was engaged to someone else. And he can't even talk about Laci and is, I'm sure, so over Andi. Odd. It's so odd to me.

I remember Jade commenting that she hardly knew about Tanner because she only got to watch Kaitlyn's/Britt's premiere episode and then filming started.

Nick and Chris S. are everywhere! Ugh guess they will be appearing. Good more hate snarking!

Hahaha.
I watched Andi's season, I didn't watch Kaitlyn's. I will be SO happy if Nick can find whatever it is he's looking for and have it reciprocated. I really don't care about him at all but I feel like it's time for him to get down on one knee, get a yes and get off of the Bachelor train already. He's such a joke now, he needs to find what he's looking for and move on.
If he finds love and is rejected again that guy should run from anyone named Neil or Lane. It's a curse.
I also can't imagine the girl that would be interested in Chris S. but they say there's something for everyone.

Now lets talk a little “Bachelor in Paradise.” We’re only a couple weeks away from filming beginning, and the rumors are running wild as to who will be on it. Remember, until someone has a ticket booked and in hand, NOTHING is a guarantee when it comes to being cast on Paradise. And hell, even Mikey Tenerelli was brought out to Mexico for season 1 and stayed in a hotel for a week before they told him he wasn’t cast. So yeah, these names will be ever changing, and nothing is official really until the show is finished filming. A majority of your contestants will be Ben’s girls and JoJo’s guys, just like last season was mostly Chris Soules’ girls, and Kaitlyn’s guys. This is by no means an official list, but here are the names I am hearing for this season’s Paradise:

Rachel has a boyfriend. I believe Amanda has one too, at least she did a few weeks ago, although they may have broken up, considering he's deleted a picture of the two of them on Instagram.
