I can’t believe it’s down to politics.
But that would sadly explain why so many people have their mind set on how « lovely » Becca and how « stupid» Lauren would be just after watching a couple episodes and not knowing what when done during the season and afterwards behind closed doors.
I used to think people would prefer to sleuth and not jump on rumors and personal political views.
IMO.

IMO not everyone thinks Becca is so superior, “beautiful and accomplished” compared to a “nothing burger” like Lauren. I do not think Lauren is a “nothing burger” at all. I happen to think Lauren seems sweet and pretty cool from what I’ve seen of her, I don’t see what there is to belittle about her accomplishments, and strictly looks-wise, I happen to think she’s more stunning than Becca (but of course that’s subjective).

I actually think that Lauren is beautiful but so many people I know have decided that blondes are boring and and vanilla and therefore not intelligent or interesting. As a blue eye blond myself I always think I don't have a chance against my exotic looking sisters and that I will be automatically eliminated as uninteresting or unattractive by men of substance. It is today's climate that a blonde is dismissed as boring and vanilla or without any intellect. It is just how the climate is these days. If you read most message boards there is definite discrimination against blondes as being vanilla or a villian. it is just how it is for the most part. I actually am glad that you see more to Lauren because I see it as well but i know it is not a popular thing to say. Brunettes and exotic women rule the world as the superior choice.

I don't blame Lauren.

I do blame Arie. I can actually understand how difficult making the right choice on this show is, the lead doesn't really know the women all that well at the time he has to pick, but when the guy isn't truly sincere about marriage, anyway, why add all this drama?

Although ... should he ever actually marry and stay faithful to Lauren then all will be forgiven by me. I would be happy to be wrong about his sincerity on marriage. Even a long term relationship without any rumors or cheating could show that.

I hope Becca finds her happy ending. She didn't deserve this.

Still hoping #Beccaforbachelorette as i have a huge grl crush on her and thought arie was a lucky guy but now i am happy because i hopefully get to watch a whole season of her (fingers crossed)

It was different with Jason and Melissa, because they both said it was a mutual breakup (off-camera) and Melissa immediately went back to her ex. And she wrote in her book that she never loved Jason and was always hung up on her ex during filming. The only part that threw Melissa was that he still had feelings for Molly and that he told her that on-camera. And Jason only made one phone immediately after the finale to see how Molly was, but they were never in contact beyond that until the AFR. This just seems so different to me, because it doesn't seem mutual and he seemed to be disrespecting her the whole time, liking Lauren's pics and calling her. And they filmed the breakup during a SHV! It all just seems so cruel. IMO.

There’s such a big difference between Jason and Arie. Jason did not have a rep as a cheater and womanizer. Arie has a modus operandi . It’s like he’s a Lyindyk imo. He hooked LB before letting Becca go. Cowardly act to me.

This is my personal belief. If she was strong enough to work through her dad's death and her mom's illness at a young age, it will be painful to deal with this fish bowl love match, but she will work through it. This is no comparison, IMO to those issues. She will deal with it and deal with it as a strong person. JMOAA. This was simply pickles on the burger.
