I hear what you're saying @umngirl and if they were hash tagging #brachel I would think it's weird. But #rnb won't really get them trending because it's used everyday for rhythm and blues. It just strikes me as a fun coincidence of a nickname.

I love that picture of Bryan/Rachel in all black. Their chemistry shines through whether they're in motion or in stills. I love all the confirmation we continue to get thanks to @socalfan. Rachel is very naturally pretty in the SHV pic. I honestly don't see how there can be any doubt that Bryan is F1 IMO. I just don't believe in conspiracy theories

Rachel at the start of the MTP. Her excitement is just bubbling under the surface. She wants her family to see what she sees in Bryan and what a great thing she's got going with him, that it's a dreamlike reality on the show but also one that she believes can exist long term in the real world too. I think her heart has already decided for her, but getting outside perspective and approval especially from the closest people in her life is massive and feeling extra good inside about her interest as a result is too.

Rachel a few minutes into the MTP. The pan over to Rachel's for-real? facial expression kills me every time.

It's plain across her face that she doesn't appreciate the tone, the cross-questioning coming from all angles, the general judgmental vibes from her family to Bryan. She was hoping her family could see him through her eyes to realize what a gem of a guy he is and has been with her. So she is more than annoyed about the direction the conversations are going and puts her eyebrows and whole face tbh to good use to express just that

Bonus: Rachel's concern for Bryan here is real. His face looks drained of color after surviving the questions at the dining table, and he looks like he is steeling himself for a moment and getting in the right frame of mind before he must excuse himself from there and survive more from her father. And Rachel is so attentive and is following his every move and looks quite protective over him. She might even have a comforting hand on him under that table?

1. Bryan, 37: It was easy to see where Rachel inherited her sensitive BS-meter. Her family certainly challenged Bryan but he handled himself like a champ. The most noteworthy thing was watching Rachel finally lose her cool and become distinctly defensive and protective of Bryan. It was reminiscent of JoJo defending Jordan—her final pick—towards her family. This was yet another piece of evidence assuring me that Rachel does, in fact, choose Bryan.

Probably my favorite part about this episode was seeing Rachel become unglued at the MTP with Bryan. She's normally so calm, collected, lawyer-mode, but to see her come to Bryan's defense was great. I know Rachel said in an interview that that was the point she knew she was in love. Can definitely tell IMO.

These are some really BIG words from two people from this franchise whose opinion I value a lot and who both have exceptional intuition and people reading skills, IMO.

What stands out to me is neither Des nor Sharleen are saying they just like Bryan... they are BOTH comparing Bryan to their own partners! As long as I've watched, I've never seen either one compare a potential F1 to their own partners.

That Bryan reminds Des of her Chris and Sharleen saying Bryan reminds her of her man too. I definitely think Des and Sharleen are both seeing a MATURE relationship here on a Bette season and Bryan is a huge reason for that, IMO.

Totally agree @AllAboutLove. I was so happy to see Sharleen's comments on Bryan. Love her and love what she had to say. IMO Bryan actually isn't all that smooth but rather someone who's mature and truly comfortable with themselves and expressing what they're feeling. Add that to someone who's naturally optimistic and romantic and you get things like "this is a fairy tale" and "we're a perfect match" (which, to me, coming from someone else could easily sound like "lines," but from what we've seen of Bryan, I think he just believes those things. You little sweetheart, Bryan.)

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I've wondered before if Sharleen knows who wins and tailors her comments to be especially supportive for the couple. Not to say that I think she's being ~disingenuous~ (this season's fav word apparently)--I think she's always very honest and fair in her blog posts--but I noticed during JoJo's season that she seemed especially keen on pointing out Jordan's good qualities when he was getting a lot of flak. IMO Sharleen is genuinely a nice person and it wouldn't surprise me if she knows that Bryan wins, and that it can be especially difficult for a couple post-show if F1 doesn't have a lot of public support. So, in choosing what to cover in her blogs/videos, she includes her positive opinion of F1 in an effort to be supportive (and maybe just maybe get others on board, too).

(IIRC Sharleen specifically said in a previous season that she was unspoiled, so I'm guessing that's an anomaly and usually she does know who RS predicts, which would support my theory.)

2. Peter, 31: I’m asked all the time whether I think Peter’s as into Rachel as she seems into him. I have to agree with the questioning; there is indeed a coolness to him. But I do feel like he’s stepping up his game in the passion department—that hot tub scene was pretty steamy. While Bryan has surpassed Peter on this list this week, Peter is still giving him a run for his money.

3. Dean, 26: No new developments here, but Dean’s strong 1-on-1 is still fresh on my mind. I can’t help but still not take him super seriously as a candidate for Rachel based on his age and the fact that she specifically said she loved Bryan’s age on Night One. Nonetheless, young Dean is a frontrunner and isn’t going anywhere.

4. Will, 28: I like Will a lot. The way he handled Lee this week really put him on my radar. While he was respectful, he really put Lee in his place without lowering himself to Lee’s level. Later, after shining on the handball Group Date, he got both the rose and a makeout sesh. I can see him getting a 1-on-1 in the coming weeks, but based on how little of his conversations with Rachel have been shown up to this point, I don’t really see him being a major final 4 contender. I love a good dark horse story, though…
